A Portland, Oregon preacher decided not to lay judgment upon those who some may consider as not being worthy of God’s grace.

This past Sunday, Rev. Curtis Buthe of Cedar Hills Baptist Church and members of the Westside United Methodist Church delivered baked goods to the workers at a local strip club.

The delivery was a part of the churches’ “Day of Action.” According to Cedar Hills Baptist Church’s website, the church uses that day to volunteer and help people in need.

Rev. Buthe told the Oregon Live that he understands how some people end up in difficult situations and that he will not cast them aside because of the decisions they have made.

The Oregon Live quoted Buthe as saying, “We want to let them know they’re not judged or condemned for working there. It’s a way of simply saying we care about you, we love you and we’re praying for you.”

Along with delivering baked goods to the local strip club, the churches’ members gave food to the homeless and delivered bake goods to the Department of Motor Vehicles and the local fire department.
